Training & Capacity Building
IRIS’s training and capacity-building
efforts have global reach. For our technical assistance projects,
we design programs that enhance participants’ abilities and
motivation, using multidisciplinary teams and approaches to address
selected issues and skill areas.
For development professionals, donors, academics, and students
(among others), IRIS makes its research and implementation findings
available through presentations, conferences, publications, electronic
media, and teaching (see
example). We also share and learn through
collaborative efforts and public discussion. IRIS’s dissemination
activities aim to stimulate dialogue and innovation.
