The goal of the US Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Commercial Law and Economic Regulation (CLERP) program is to facilitate reform of Armenia’s legal, regulatory, and administrative entities relating to commercial law and trade.
The program provides technical assistance to the Republic of Armenia in three key areas:- Commercial law
- Trade policies
- Economic regulation
IRIS working as a subcontractor to Bearing Point Inc. delivers technical assistance, training, and commodities to selected counterparts in these three areas. We also help to develop more transparent, accountable, and responsive democratic governance by- Strengthening the capacity of government institutions
- Helping NGOs develop systems to manage their resources and respond to citizens’ concerns
