The IRIS Center announces the launch of a new website for Financial Services Assessment Project

October 2008

The IRIS Center launched a new project website for its Financial Services Assessment project. The website will serve as the main platform for disseminating information produced by the project. Research reports, Notes from the Field, and other project news will be posted as they become available.

Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Financial Services Assessment Project examines the impact of financial services on the lives of the poor. The project brings together the expertise of the IRIS Center and Microfinance Opportunities in a mixed-method approach to impact assessment. Log on to www.fsassessment.umd.edu for more details about the project, research methods, and the project team.
