A System and Implementation Schedule for Simplifying Business Registrations in Chad
Working paper, Scope of work
Benjamin Hardy
September 1992

In order to promote private enterprise and free markets, USAID/Chad and the Government of Chad (GOC) are working with private economic operators to improve the country’s business environment. To that end, USAID contracted with the University of Maryland’s IRIS Center to provide technical assistance toward simplifying GOC business registration procedures, including a schedule for implementing reforms. This report describes work carried out under the contract and provides follow-up recommendations to USAID/Chad.
